David Bassett (continued)

 was the eminence grise behind the National Campaign for a Peace Tax Fund and a founder member of CPTI. He is also remembered as a campaigner for the Japanese-Americans, including his first wife Miyake, who had been interned during the War. He died on December 11th, aged 93.  He is much missed.
